DESCRIPTION
       The attributes can be safely erased when compiling with other compilers.

       To enable analysis, set these environment variables before running cmake:

              export CC=clang
              export CFLAGS="-DSDL_THREAD_SAFETY_ANALYSIS -Wthread-safety"
